(a) On the creation of an additional district court in a county, an existing district court in the county may transfer to the new court a case regarding a child who is subject to the continuing exclusive jurisdiction of the existing court under Title 5, Family Code, regardless of whether the case is pending in the existing court or the existing court rendered a final order in the case. (a) The 329th Judicial District is composed of Wharton County. Court for the Del Rio Division shall be held at Del Rio. (b) The 361st District Court has concurrent jurisdiction with the statutory county courts of Brazos County in misdemeanor cases as well as the jurisdiction prescribed by general law for district courts.
